The firm

Our objective is to provide the accounting and financial support services that enable you to achieve your wider commercial goals

Langley Associates was established in 1994 by Geoff Barnes, a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years' professional and commercial experience. Geoff qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976 having trained with one of the major international accounting practices. After a number of years in professional practice, he held several senior finance positions in commerce and industry, including ten years at Board level, before returning to professional life. He believes that this combination of business and professional experience can be of great value to his clients.

Langley Associates employs five other staff:

Deepali Chandra: Accounts and Tax Manager.
Deepali qualified as a Chartered Accountant in India with PwC and is also a member of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She has worked for Langley Associates for four years and is responsible for managing the production of annual Accounts and Tax Returns.

Richard Barnes: Assistant Accountant.
Richard has worked with Langley Associates for almost four years and works with a portfolio of clients, providing regular bookkeeping and accounting services.

Kat Fallon: Trainee Accountant.
Kat joined us in November 2006 and is training to become a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She deals with annual Accounts preparation, as well as bookkeeping and VAT returns for a number of clients.

Julie Dann: Administrator.
Julie has been with us since September 2006 and is responsible for co-ordinating the workflow through the practice, as well as general administrative duties.
